I went out into deepest Hertfordshire today and noticed that the fields are all golden after the sunshine from last week. These ears of wheat are literary bursting out of their husks... I do hope that the rain stays off long enough so that the farmers can get in their harvest! I loved the burst of red behind from the poppies...
