Seb in Japan has added a photo to the pool:
My local shopping street - just outside Yoyogi Station. On the left there are some small restaurants which are open till late.
Further up you can see the overpass and the Yamanote line train is passing overhead about to arrive at Yoyogi Station from Harajuku Station.
This area has a small suburban feel about it with many small local businesses and many small apartment blocks.
A nice area.
