As cool as a cucumber

Shamus O'Reilly has added a photo to the pool:

As cool as a cucumber

The cucumber we bought from the market was frozen and then started to defrost in this unusual way.

"First used by the poet John Gay in a poem in 1732, the phrase “cool as a cucumber” isn’t just an indicator of a calm attitude. It’s also based on observable fact that at room temperature, the inside of a cucumber can be up to 20 degrees cooler than the outside air."
