Victor Hugo (1802–85), the famous French author, who stayed in Vianden on several occasions between 1862 and 1871, recorded its beauty and setting in prose, poetry and sketches. Hugo did much to promote the attractions of Vianden to the outside world.
I tried to do the same through the medium of photography :)
